Artist Statement
My work explores a variety of media, particularly drawing, and how it overlaps with contemporary painting and tattooing. My process involves a deep engagement with composition and contrast using illustrative and painterly techniques. Collaboration lies at the heart of my work, most notably in my tattoo commissions, where I work closely with clients to understand their vision, and bring it to life in a way that is both compelling and meaningful.
Much of my tattoo work is abstract and flows with the natural curvature of the body, or uses micro realism to capture snippets of images and memories onto someone's body, to express my art on a permanent canvas. My goal in life is to create art that not only sparks emotion and deeper thought, such as nostalgia and comfort, but also enhances someone’s life and self expression.
